Hey, my friend today I am going to tell you everything about the builder floor. For those of you who don’t know what builder floor is, listen up it is a more spacious real estate property than multi-story buildings but the open spaces are found more in multi-story apartments.

There are a lot of factors such as budget, lifestyle expectations, sense of freedom and independence, and the cost of maintenance of the place that plays a crucial role in the actual decision of a person who is aiming to get a real estate property.

Before buying a property, ask yourself a few questions in advance, like what is your budget? Do your Maths and see what your maximum budget is and then think accordingly. Is privacy something that is of utmost importance to you or not? For some people, their privacy is very significant and that is a big deal for them. It ends up being the difference between a deal made and a deal that’s not made.

What facilities are present on the Builder Floor?

If you are a person who is planning to buy a builder floor or is in the middle of the process of purchasing one, then make sure that you know what a builder floor offers you. It does not provide you with the typical facility within a compound such as a swimming pool, gymnasium, etc, but multi-storey apartments do give you such facilities.

Over the last couple of years, we have witnessed many gated building floors that have tried their best to offer as many amenities as an apartment does. When we ponder over privacy, the builder floor gives you a higher level of privacy as there is only one owner on one floor whereas, on the other hand in multi-storeyed apartments, there can be up to 4 or more flats on the same floor.

What are the pros and cons of Builder Floor and Apartment?

 Cost :-

One of the greatest benefits of getting a builder's floor is that it is less expensive than a multi-story apartment. So it will help you save your hard-earned money and it comes off as a big benefit as the maintenance charges of the builder floor are somewhat lower when compared to that of the apartment.

Facilities:-

The apartment will any day offer you more facilities than the builder floor and then obviously the cost of the maintenance charges of the apartment will be more than that of the builder floor. It does not matter if you make use of all the facilities or not, you will still have to pay for them. Like everything in this world, there is a set of pros and cons to buying a builder's floor.

Independence and privacy:-

You will get more independence and privacy on the builder's floor but at times it might be hard to communicate with the neighbors, whereas in multi-storey apartments, you can interact comfortably with the people as there is a garden in the society. You also have a gym within the society, so you can easily catch up with your neighbors during your workout time. All kinds of festivals and other celebrations are organised by the members of the society in the apartment from time to time.

Safety:-

Now we will talk about the most important point which is safety and security. All of us want to feel safe and secure wherever we are living in the world. I know you want to know which out of the builder floor and apartment is a safer option. Let me clear all your doubts, regarding the protection and safety.

An apartment is safer than a builder's floor that is because an apartment provides you with multilevel security on main gates, the kids and the women can freely roam around even during the night on tower lobbies, night patrolling, etc without any tension. Another addition to this is the apartment has a repair and maintenance team consisting of plumbers, electricians, etc.

Maintenance:-

If you are living on a builder's floor and then let’s say a power cut happens, then you will have to immediately rush to find a plumber or electrician however if you are residing in an apartment, then you will be stress-free as there is a full team of technicians available to take care of everything. There is a proper list of rules and regulations that has to be followed by the residents of the apartment no matter what. The inhabitants of the building don’t have anything to follow.

What is the difference between a flat and an apartment?

In simpler terms, a flat is a set of rooms that can be 2BHK, 3BHK, 4BHK, or more it is all a part of a bigger building which is also known as a society. It is a bigger part of the residences. An apartment is a customized residence that is constructed in a better locale that also has several households.

The term flat is mostly used in British English and apartment is used in American English. A large majority of flats are one storey, whereas an apartment can be multi-storeyed. A flat is usually referred to as middle-class accommodation while an apartment is described as luxurious and great living.

Conclusion

If you are someone who is confused between two options, whether to buy a builder's floor or an apartment, then you don’t have to keep thinking all the time to make your final decision. Just have a clear mindset in regards to what are you looking for and you will be able to make a good decision by the end of the day.

Know your needs and then see which out of the two options fits your criteria, then decide and make your final call. Don’t forget to outweigh the positives and negatives of both the alternatives. Know certain that you have at least a basic level of knowledge about the real estate industry. Wherever you decide to live, just see to the fact that the place you are purchasing feels like home to you because you will spend a large majority of your day there.
